The Kentaur chef's jacket combines classic craftsmanship with modern details. The press studs at the collar and the concealed front fastening give an elegant appearance, whilst the split chest pocket and pen pocket on the sleeve ensure quick access to the most important tools. The integrated neck strap makes it easy to wear the jacket with a bib apron.

With the Pull-Up sleeves, you can quickly adjust the sleeve length without rolling – ideal in hectic working situations where flexibility and comfort are essential.

Materials and Comfort

The jacket is made from a 2/1 twill weave of 65% recycled polyester and 35% cotton, providing both strength and breathability. Weighing 175 g/m², the fabric feels light yet robust enough for daily use. 

The ergonomic cut and lightweight material provide excellent freedom of movement, whilst the white colour contributes to a professional and timeless appearance in both restaurant and staff canteen environments.

Certifications and Quality

Kentaur focuses on responsible production and quality. This chef's jacket holds OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN certification, documenting that both the material and the manufacturing process meet high environmental and occupational health standards. It also carries the Grüner Knopf label, ensuring social and quality standards are upheld throughout the value chain.

The jacket has been developed to withstand industrial laundering and has been tested to ISO 15797, making it ideal for professional laundries and intensive daily use.

Use and Care

The chef's jacket can be washed at 85°C and tolerates tumble drying on a low heat, bleaching, and ironing at a medium temperature. Press studs should be left open during washing to preserve shape and function. To avoid creasing, it is recommended to fill the machine to no more than two-thirds. 

With proper care, the fit, colour, and comfort are maintained – even after many wash cycles.
