Maintenance tips
To keep your olive wood board looking beautiful and remaining durable for years to come, it is recommended to wash it quickly in warm water with a little mild washing-up liquid and then dry it thoroughly. Always stand the board on its edge to allow it to dry completely, and avoid soaking it or placing it in the dishwasher.
Once a month, the board can benefit from a treatment with mineral oil or coconut oil, which penetrates the wood and protects against drying out. Apply the oil evenly, leave it to work for a couple of hours, then wipe away any excess with a cloth. This keeps the wood's lustre and makes it more resistant to stains and moisture.
