How to Use and Care for Your Cafetière
The French press system offers a simple way to brew rich, flavourful coffee:

1. Place the CHAMBORD on a flat surface, hold the handle, and pull the plunger up.
   
   
2. Add one level tablespoon of coarsely ground coffee per cup (1.2 dl).
   Pour hot water (92–96ºC) into the carafe, leaving at least 2.5 cm from the top, and stir with a plastic or wooden spoon.
   
   
3. Place the plunger on top and close the spout to retain the heat.
   Allow the coffee to brew for four minutes, then slowly press the plunger down.
   
   
4. Rotate the lid to open the spout and pour your delicious cup of coffee.
   
   
5. Wash the CHAMBORD in warm soapy water before first use and dry it thoroughly.
