• Patented grinding mechanism
  The mills in the Berlin series are fitted with Zassenhaus' patented ceramic mechanism, which is harder than steel and resistant to wear and corrosion. This unique system ensures a consistent and precise grind of salt, pepper, and other spices such as chilli flakes, cumin, or coriander. Zassenhaus has been producing mills since 1867, and in 1999 they switched to an extremely durable zirconium ceramic – a material second only to diamonds in hardness.
  
  
• Flexible adjustment
  With six different settings, ranging from ultra-fine (1) to extra coarse (6), you can easily adjust the mill to suit your personal preferences. The user-friendly scale on the base of the mill also makes it easy to see which setting you have selected, even when refilling.
  
  
• Ergonomic design and easy cleaning
  The Berlin series mills sit comfortably in the hand thanks to their gently curved shape. Cleaning is as simple as filling the mill with a little coarse salt and grinding it through, which cleans the mechanism quickly and effectively without damaging the ceramic grinder.
